Here’s a new resource from the FTC: a helpful web site about money management.
Money Matters: New FTC Site For Consumers
The FTC just unveiled a new site called Money Matters, which looks like an informative financial resource for us consumers who all need to be warned how to tread carefully when it comes to our money. The “Money Matters” site is a nicely designed front for content that already exists in the Federal Trade Commission’s main site, so if you check out the links they have categorized under Scam Watch, Credit Cards, Managing Your Money, Dealing With Debt, Your Home and Jobs, you’ll be led to some very helpful articles.
They cover topics such as the following: how to avoid scams, how to choose credit cards, how to make a budget, how to save and spend wisely, how to get rid of debt, handle your mortgage and increase your income. In addition, there are a nice bunch of to do lists (action lists) there as well, so swing by over there when you get a chance!
Now let’s move on to more financial resources around the blogosphere:

Hey – thanks for the link and the comment! This is a great roundup of articles. I enjoyed the article from “Pimp My Finances” as well.
Thanks for the mention. 🙂
Boy, I hope I never have to tell my boss I’m pregnant, mostly because I’m a guy.
Does Materialism Breed Unhappiness? Good question. It sure does breed expectations where the goalposts are constantly moving. The question is how much is enough? Keeping up with the joneses and trying to dress and live like the stars can be a very unfulfilling existence…..
Thanks for the mention SVB.
SVB, thanks for the mention – and I just heard your podcast with Kim Palmer – very cool – I recently joined you as a full-time blogger as well!
ChristianPF,
Thanks for your message! You are way too kind. 🙂 Congrats on becoming a full time blogger. I read your post on how to make a living by blogging. It’s awesome!
I just applied to the FTC for a position that handles this site. I hope I get it! It would be amazing!
Great share. I will be visiting the money matters site to see if I can get pointers in choosing a new credit card.
